Simona Cheorea, RDH – Dental Hygienist

Simona has joined Abel Phan & Associates Dental Practice since March 2021. She is truly thankful for having found a great team to work with every day. With over 10 years of experience in the dental field, Simona is passionate about caring for her patient’s oral health through gentle care and education. 

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Virginia Community College in 2011 with an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene. Simona believes that learning is a lifelong process thus, she strives to provide the best care possible to her patients by keeping up with the newest innovations in the dental industry. Her recent focus has been on advanced non-surgical care for periodontal disease- oral DNA and saliva test laser bacterial reduction therapy, Perio Protect trays. She has always carried the passion of the art of healing and prevention to her patients.

Outside her dental hygiene life, Simona likes to spend time with her family, friends, and Dachshund-Tootsie enjoys outdoor activities and loves traveling.
